HI HERE IS A STERLING SILVER CASE ? ANYONE KNOW WHAT KIND OF CASE THIS IS...INSIDE MARKED 9 9 TOP AND BOTTOM INSIDE ON LID HANDLE IS 895 THEN A TRIANGLE WITH A MARK INSIDE CANNOT MAKE OUT WHAT IT IS THEN NEAR THE MIDDLE IS A MARK WITH 2 INITIALS M V

If it as a mirror, or did have a mirror, it's a compact, I suspect from continental Europe. It's very pretty.

hi,thanks for replying .. I really would like to know a little more .. like what do the mark M WITH A SPACE V STAND FOR...THAT I AM SURE IS THE MAKER.. I WENT ON WEB SITE WITH STERLING MARKS AND COULD NOT FIND M V . I WISH I COULD MAKE OUT WHAT IS IN THE TRIANGLE ITS SO SMALL NEED A REALLY SHARP MAGNIFIER...
