I think this Victorian satin glass rose bowl is probably by an English maker, perhaps Webb. It has a ribbon air trap pattern & the painted decoration is very delicately executed.

I believe the glass is by English maker John Walsh Walsh. I have a small collection of air trap glass that is from JWW and one of them is a miniature white footed air trap vase with the same decorating on it.

Love your collection of Peloton glass! I have several pieces from the Harrach factory (well most of them are from the Harrach factory anyhow). I had one vase that I sold a few years ago that I kind of regretted, it's by far the nicest piece of Peloton glass I've ever seen.

Many thanks for your input, & yes, looking at compared to another ribbon satin rose bowl I have, which I know is by Walsh (it's yellow - green with a wavy crimped top) there is a good resemblance. Glad that you're enjoying my Peloton glass as well - there is quite a bit more to come. I have a small vase with white threads only, which I believe to be a Harrach example - it will get posted eventually, as will my other Walsh rose bowl. I like JWW glass very much, as their designs were often rather unusual - number one on my "glass bucket list" is a JWW palm tree vase - I hope to find one someday.

Sadly all of my JWW glass is packed away. I have some miniature vases, a creamer and sugar set in air trap, rose bowls, and a lovely signed salt in a silver plated holder. It doesn't come up a lot, and it's nice quality work IMHO.

I have quite a few pieces of Peloton, particularly Harrach. I did an article on it a while back.
