Here is another promotional advertising steel bank from my collection, this one promote "The Provident Savings Bank & Trust Company, Cincinnati" Manufactured by the W.F.Burns, Chicago & New-York.
The decor on this one is swirle electroplate, this model was patented in 1895, at this time the company have not develop the flapping coins mechanized on the side of the box(pic 4)with this system present in the 1895 model it's the next coin insert made the first to fall in the bank.

On the top left we can read"W.F.Burns CO.Chicago,Patented Jan.15.1895
On the right "H3508" serial number.

This Advertising bank is 3.25 inch tall, 4.50 inch wide, 3.25 inch deep.

Cincinnati's Changing Scene In 1907 the Provident Savings Bank & Trust Co. purchased the southeast corner of Seventh and Vine Sts. to erect a new office building. Then five years old, the bank had occupied basement rooms in the old Chamber of Commerce Building, Fourth and Vine Sts. The west half of the building, still housing the bank, was completed in 1908 and the east half some time later, giving the building its present size. The Provident Savings Bank & Trust Co. grew from the consolidation in 1902 of two firms, the Provident Savings Bank Co. and the Provident Trust Co., both of which . wart incorporated in 1900.
