Hi all.
Sorry about the pictures as I took them from another phone ..
This is I think an old piece of Chinese silver that friend of mine bought ..
I said I'd put it on c/w to see if anyone knows anything of its origins ??
These are the only Marks on it ..
I've looked through all my books on silver & can't find anything like it on the Web..
It weighs 258gms & is 100% pure silver
Please if anyone knows Chinese silver we would be very greatful to find even an age of this beautiful object ..

SD get them to do s proper upload and try the FB group on Collecting Chinese Ceramics and Art. At the least someone should be able to translate this. If it is Japanese they will refer you to their sister group.

He's actually let a Chinese specialist have it for valuation..
I'll post what happens as & when ..
Apparently it's ancient Chinese & hand made & could be worth a lot but I'll keep all informed ;-)
