Hi CW friends!
This site inspires me to go through old junk that I've kept around because I'm not sure if it's truly junk or a vintage treasure.
This ring has no marks, stamps or otherwise on it. It's never changed colors either. So I don't have a guess as to what kind of metal it may be.
But I'd like to know. Thanks for any help! Even if it's junk I think I'll keep it around...notice how the sun comes through the stone, I find it very pretty.

Looks like heavily plated base metal with a glass stone. Give it a clean with a soft toothbrush and a bit of dish washing liquid.

A lovely costume ring. I have a red one just like this, my husband bought it for me from a preloved shop. I don't think it's very old but the glass is pretty!
