Incredibly crafted Antique Ice Skates

I bought this nice pair of Antique skates with a box of antique skates and upon looking at the craftsmanship of how they were sewn and made, I find them to be as carefully sewn as the finest Italian made shoes! The closeness of the stiches and fine thread used along with the perfection of the detailed work shows that the craftsman was a true expert. As we live in an era of mediocrity and entitlement mentalities, it is wonderful to see the evidence of our ancestors who were truly dedicated craftsmen. I don't see much of that in the high volume, low quality imports that fill our stores today.
