This is a cute little doll that is around 5 inches. She is marked on back with Made in Germany 155. Her hair does come off and her legs are jointed. She even has a couple teeth painted on. I do not know the maker of this doll.
Antique German bisque head doll by J. D. Kestner circa about 1898. Mold number 155. Very good doll with good value :-) Love her . Hopefully she has no cracks in head .
This one is a mess and broke but I wanted to show you markings is all . Disregard price ,she sells for much much more :-)

Wow, thanks for all the info, Manikin. I found this doll at an estate sale that was hosted by the children of owner. I don't think that they knew what he had with this doll or many other things I got there. I probably paid $1-2 for her. I went and checked her head and did not see any cracks.
Oh my 2 dollars ! Amazing you were very lucky and I hope you will be her caretaker for next generation too . Thank you for sharing her .
Yes I plan on keeping her. She sits in a little chair in my bedroom curio cabinet. Thanks for all your knowledge and help on the dolls
