After I bought my fountain girl, I went to a local vintage shop where I have found really great jewelry in the past for not much money. I spotted two silver brooches in the glass case, which I bought, and then found these cuff links in a box together with another pair of costume cuff links. I hadn't been in the shop in weeks, so no idea how long those were sitting there. Long enough for someone to notice the gold marks, but nobody ever did. These are marked for Vincenzia Italy. "BREV" or Brevetto, means licensed/patented.
I paid 20 Euro ($20.77) for these cuff links, a vintage signed Just Andersen Denmark sterling silver brooch and an unmarked Victorian silver and opal brooch. I sent off photos of the cuff links along with their weight to Geri. Scrap price is 300 Euro ($312.00). Not scrap, lol!
:-))))))))))))))))))
I will post the other two brooches shortly.
Thanks for looking!
