I was fortunate to find this-here is backstory. A couple of years ago, an estate sale business owner started opening up his warehouse to the public, before he moved out of state. This was a massive warehouse filled with leftover estate sale items and probably estate liquidation pieces. I went on numerous occasions and found some really cool items each time. You could fill a box or basket and pay around $5-15. As I was walking by the glass table, I saw this piece and picked it up. I was surprised and excited to see this 1936 piece commemorating the Olympics. This piece features Bradenburg gate in Germany. Although there are a few nicks to glass,it is still a cool piece of history
Fantastic find! Such a great piece.
Thanks racer4four, I was so excited when I saw this-I love history. This was the Olympics that Jesse Owens and Hitler attended.

you have a rare piece of history here and maybe valuable as well.
Yes, thanks for the link. I have only seen 1-2 of these in the minimal research that I have done. Like I said, I love history-my grandfather fought in Germany against the Nazis in WW2 and I have a couple of German medals that he brought back.
what a great piece of history and thankful to your grandfather for fight against the Nazi's!!
