I have never come across a hand mirror made of plastic that was so pretty. There is a little blob of a foil label left on the back (3rd photo). I don't think it was part of a set. The handle is angled rather than rounded or like a paddle, which makes it seem Art Deco. I see what looks like a seam down the side, so that eliminates Bakelite. In great condition, aside from the usual signs of wear. I have just one other hand mirror, an arts and crafts type, hand beaten copper and enamel on wood. I use it every single day.
So - off to see if I can find another one of these online somewhere.

What is the cage for?
Val - that's the house/cage for the young ones for next year. There are three other buildings on the property, all filled with pigeons!
SpiritBear - for the young homing pigeons, which are not yet born. There are a total of four pigeons houses in my backyard.
Cute mirror, the shape is very stylish!
How many pigeons do you have?
Would love to see them! I raised several babies fallen from balcony in Paris, they learnt to fly in my flat before being released :-D
