A framed first flight (April 12, 1981) presentation award from McDonnell Douglas Astronautics given to members of the Stratos Division team.

Stratos Division was an aerospace division of Fairchild (Aviation) Industries Corp. They were involved with the design and creation of the rear stabilizers in the aft propulsion system of the Space Shuttle 'Columbia'.

The Columbia, sadly, didn't get to join most of her sister ships as museum pieces.

    Frame measures 14 1/2" by 17 1/4".
