I don't think it's writing - only a design which might have had some meaning to the manufacturer. I take it there are no marks on the bar itself?

I’m just now seeing this post. It such a beautiful piece of jewelry. At first glance, the symbols on the back make me think of Egyptian hieroglyphic symbols. You could probably Google hieroglyphic symbols and compare your.
