I was given this doll about 40 years ago from the only lady I considered as a grand mother. The doll was bought for her daughter so I'mguessing its about 80 years old. There is no markings I can see. Something looks like there was on its neck. I'd just like to know where it came from and maybe made.
My grand ma came from Germany
This is a very polular doll of the 50s. The head mold was used by many companies, one of them being Allied Eastern, from Brooklyn. They are considered supermarket dolls, and many come without markings or with untraceable letter-number codes.
I have two, marking on one is AE576-52, marked on the back of the vinyl head. Body is hard plastic.
