this is a very good quality Japanese plate from around the 1870s. Made by the Fukagawa company which is highly prized in Japan.

I didn’t have any luck with the marks, sorry. I does look better quality than the norm
this is much better than the norm. the mark is Seija kaisha - Fukagowa from 1879-1897. i was very surprised to learn that. from what i can gather, this is the very best quality of imari in late meiji.
