I was surfing the eBay auction site one evening around 11 pm and accidentally came across this strange item. The auction started at 19.99 and I was the only bidder on this. There were no information on it other then it attracted a lot of attention in the seller home and that it was a flea market or estate sale find.O thought it was a tiny figurine and U was truly shocked when the package arrived from south Florida. I did a little investigating and have since what exactly what it is.It is an Eastern Zhou Chinese jade ram beast figure depicting a horned ram beast in a standing position.Eastern Zhou dynasty period 221 BC.It measures 7 inches tall and weighs 1303 grams. It was sold by auction a few years back for 800.00 and when the purchaser passed away it was sold at his estate sale in south Florida. It is a unique item and all my family and friends are afraid of it.

      It's a fertility figure.

I don't think it's aram. It a ewe holding her breasts and looking pregnant. Weird, I was looking up the old lion head posted here, and kept running across these figures from many cultures holding breasts.

Did you get the COA, too? When It was sold at auction it said it came with a certificate of authenticity. You may be able to get a copy from the auction house.
