I purchased this trunk at a Broad Run Va Antique Shop in 1976.
It has a unique double lock system with a rotating star which covers the keyhole. It is 36"W x 22"Deep x 28" Tall Would love any input as age or maker.

The lock alone was made by Hillebrand & Wolf . I Believe late 1800s.The trunk is a cross slat barrel stave type trunk. It was mass produced by hundreds of manufacturers, without a label it is impossible to say who made it.thanks for the post.
