I've had this light for about 30 years. I've never seen another one, or been able to find any information on it. I have searched antique books and mags, and the internet for years, zero. the top piece is etched plate glass, so I assume many were broken, that's why I can't find the value of this light. I'm sure the light was made before 1935, and I think it was made before prohibition, it had an old style cloth cord when I got it, I have since rewired it to make it safe. cast iron base with two light bulbs, plate glass top etched and painted. I love this light, if anyone has some info on this piece, I would love to hear it.
Wow that's a very nice sign you have there! What you have is a "Halo light" made by the Price Brothers Inc. Sign company located in Chicago, IL. I'd date your sign from the mid to late 1930's era even into the early 1940's era. Pabst Brewery made a few variations of these signs, yours appears to be one of the earlier ones.
Hope this helps!
that is very helpful, thank you for the information
