January 7th, 2017. With the blinds open I love the light and shadows on my wall and here are some of my Bronze Candelabra from the Empire Period circa 1810. From top to bottom excluding prism they are about 26 inches in height. Took pictures this morning with sun streaming through !!~
Originally I bought these for a lot of money from an auction in Montreal and I did buy them years ago when prices for these were out of this world. Nowadays they would sell for about 1/2 of what I paid, but I still love these Vestal Vergins. They always look good in the sun with the Pineapple prisms I have mounted on top. These are the smaller Pineapples that I have the others are almost twice the size.
Very pretty display :)
Thank you very much Mrstyndall, most appreciated !
Very stunning looking Phil!!! Hopefully, the value of these will increase in the years to come.
