Honestly, I don't even think it was a Murano. It was about 7" long and 3" or so wide. Looks more like a copy but there is the remnants of a sticker on the bottom, unless they copied that too!!!
So Rick, when are we going to trade??? I think it would be a very fair deal! Bwahahaha!!! I don't even have this anymore! But I'll still come get the one you are taking care of for me ;)))

Well Sue, this is much nicer than the, ahem, Murano fish vase I have.
I was going to offer Rick a direct swap but I thought the postage cost would kill him, even though he would have probably (possibly, or maybe, not) really wanted my piece.
I keep my vase to remember the younger Karen and her not so great purchases. You know what? I still like it, pretense and all!!!

Thank you Alan. I appreciate that. I bought that piece to sell it and did, actually pretty quick. I think it was really China not Murano. They did an ok job but true Murano is much, much better. You know how we all at one time or another make those mistakes!

Yeah Share, I'm not too sure about it being Murano, but regardless, the shape is great and the fish are super colorful! Now, as far as the trade is concerned... It'll take one Huckleberry Hound, A Black and Orange Spatter Footed Dish, two of your Native American pottery vases and your almond stick ( non negotiable)! I know that's a high price, but it's got to be worth it for me. LOL..... I'm not quite finished laughing :-) :-) :-)

simple rule if you can see the eyes of the fish, it,s ok , when the eyes are just a dot , you are in trouble, i have seen worse than this
