    Hello Everyone, 01-11-2017, 10:00 PM
I found this very attractive and modern navajo sand painted bear pottery today at my local thrift shop, when i research online many coming on the screen in search image, much more coloured than this one, still have some charm, look like the motif found in cavern dating from thousand year old, the shape is typical from native American tripe, sign at 2 location, one it's much easier to read "DINÉ" the other word difficult to decipher.
The DINÉ term with Bear, acting like a "fetish" for every tripe in North America, maybe elsewhere to.
On one side this bear depicted a Dear, a Sorcerer and some sort of Spirit, on the other side this look like the Maple Leaf, this little Navajo Bear pottery coming with small paper that described the "The Bear Fetish"

This little bear stand 3.50 tall by 5 inch long.

    Many Thanks Everyone for Viewing.

    Regards
    Alan

Hi, Alan2310, I have a bear that is shaped like that, but it is made of stone. I picked up several Native American items at a sale and some are really neat. Will try and post a couple tomorrow
