Early today I saw a Randy Strong Glass Vase that was posted on CW. It just happened that I found a Brandy Snifter, at the thrift store that I thought was marked Strong 83, and when I saw the mark on the Vase, my Snifter looked a lot like it. After an image search for Randy Strong Goblets, I saw one that had the same stem and base design, but most of the marks on Randy Strong Glass Pieces are marked R Strong. So not sure if this is a Randy Strong Goblet/Snifter now. Any help is much appreciated! :^)

Thanks Karen(racer4four), with your help, we solved the mystery

It was hard to get a clear picture of the mark on the bottom, I hope it's good enough, it not I'll try to get a better one later

Can you rub a bit of graphite into the inscription Bill, or maybe take a photo against a darker background, and focused?

Thank you Karen, I'll try that, I think I might have moved a little bit, on the close up too. Thank you for the love, and you to Judy! :^)

OK Thanks to Karen, I found a way to enhance the signature with graphite, and a black background directly behind it, so the camera will focus on the rim of the glass and not below, because of the clear glass foot.

I think that's a positive for Strong. Well done, it's great!

Thanks beyemvey, I think so too! :^) and thank you for stopping by, and the love!
In my search I found out that he is located in Berkeley, Calif. about 25 miles away, but retired now.
