Late 1940's all metal fan restorations by Matthew Cashion in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Color schemes are intended to maintain a vintage appeal, but pushing the limits as much as possible. Manufactures involve primarily Fasco, as well as Artic Aire (full sized white and blue) Airline (mid-size yellow and nickel) and Spartan (mid-size blue and yellow). The process is not a simple one. The fan has to be taken apart completely, sanded and cleaned, and each part is individually painted (spray) then brush painted to ensure clean lines. Then they are carefully re-assembled, and the fan gets a nice polyurethane clear-coat for protection and a nice shine.
Only lube fans with Marvel Mystery Oil.
They make me happy!
Great work, I love an old thing like a fan that can be restored. The fact that it is not original finish does not bother me.
Love them...:-)
You are all wonderful. Thank you.
I am thinking of doing something like this with a couple tube raidios. Great job!
