I don't have much glass from Aderia, probably because the company has mainly produced pressed glass homewares, like bowls and glasses, and not much art glass. I'll give a reason why later.
Somewhere, in a box, I've got some groovy Aderia stemmed glasses and I might have a bowl or two buried somewhere .......somewhere.

Anyway, back to this vase. It's crystal, nicely moulded and finished well.
It came in a presentation box with Aderia bookmark, and appears to have been some company's anniversary gift.
I quite like the shape of it, with the ribbed base stretching to the arms, and the scattering of aventurine gives a nice golden touch.
    It's tallish at 26cm.

Aderia is part of the Ishizuka Glass Group, a large corporation that owns Tsugaru Vidro (Hokuyo Glass), Narumi, , a metal cap factory, a number of PET bottle factories, glass pressing machinery factory, a glass container transport company, and a glass packaging and storage company. They have sites in Japan, Indonesia, Singapore and Shanghai. They are BIG and diverse.
If you look at that list of companies you will see that the role of hand made art glass is covered by Tsugaru Vidro (Hokuyo Glass) - Aderia's role is to service the glass tableware needs of Japan. They don't appear to export much these days.

Just on a side note: Aderia is the name the company uses. I do see it Anglicised sometimes to Adelia, which makes me smile.
