    Small 3 footed bowl, obviously hand painted, unusual, I can find nothing similar. 5" at rim, 2 1/2 " height. Inside of bowl is iridescent. Anyone tell me anything about it?

      Here is a link to a bowl with a same shape, only the decoration is different. By the way the painting on your item is typical of Noritake.

      Thank you Martika, it does look like the same shape, it's a start!

      Well, it seems that Noritake invented "Lusterware" which is that iridescence that this piece has on the inside. But then other Japanese companies produced Lusterware as well. I can find no markings on this bowl, I think if it was Noritake there would be a mark.

      Love the Forget-me0nots pattern! I believe they refer to this as a nut bowl, and many came with 4 smaller sized ones for individual servings of nuts
