This is my 100 Year old Bohemian Rose bowl made from Vaseline Glass.
It actually has Three different shades of green starting at the top with a blueish Green, Light Green in the Center and Medium Green at the bottom, this Rose bowl has beautifully detailed floral designs which were painted primarily in gold with white accents, gold brushed trim around the top crimps and a polished pontil, If anyone has any information on the Maker I would appreciate it!
Best Regards

Hi Shawn. Check oyt this site:
http://www.great-glass.co.uk/library/lib3a.htm.
There you will see a variety of vases that they attribute to Mont Joye. It seems they used a caeo mark, as well as a label on some pieces and on others a gilt mark that rubbed off pretty easily.
If you google "mont joye rose bowl" and refer to 'imaeges you'll see the marks and other examples that will show that Mont Joye is a definite possibility. But I'm not an expert, just an enthusiastic collector.
You have a lovely variant. Are the flowers cyclamens? They are really fine.
It could be Bohemian – I have a similar one; never thought it was of any importance although nicely executed with polished pontil and iridescent. How big is yours? Mine is only 5``. I will post it now – just curious. We had no French glass over here, or at least only a small fraction of the market.
Is the pontil polished smooth or is it rough?
Hi. I've added some pictures to my Show and Tell picture of the "Mont Joye" example. It has a polished pontil. Ivan's piece is another nive example of the many versions you'll see of a rose bowl. The gilding around the top edge seems similar to mine as well.
Hello Ivan, Yes mine is about the same size, and I believe made by the same company, Scottvez the Pontil is Polished, and Yea Vetraio We have a Nice Trio of Rosebowls!
Thank you Guys for the Loves and Likes! Its Very Appreciated!
