I found this Buffalo China Roycroft Renaissance 9 3/4" Hotel Restaurant dinner plate at the Flea Market on Sunday. I like the look of the Arts and Crafts style, and just that it's got the Roycroft mark plus an R. :^)
The plate is a 1990's reproduction of the old Buffalo Pottery plate from the Roycroft Inn when it opened in East Aurora, N.Y. in 1905.
The Inn reopened in 1995, using the new Renaissance Pattern, and was also sold in it's gift shop.
Thanks for taking a look, and the loves, Karen, Judy, aura, and beyemvey! :^)
I wish this was the older Buffalo Pottery Roycroft Inn plate, but to find this at my local Flea Market, is ok too! :^D
Hey Kevin, and Rick, thanks for stopping by, and the love! :^)
I purchased A 50-piece place setting of this Buffalo China Roycroft Inn China set with the double R Mark. There are 1o each of dinner plates, salad plates, bread/saucers, bowls and coffee mugs. The logos on the back of the plates and mugs are a stamp of a Buffalo with a number below it. The bowls just have a raised Buffalo on it. I have no idea if they are original or reproductions but I love them. We use them at our mountain cabin in NC.
