    This is a pottery jar/vase that's marked Made In Japan. It looks like it may be old, but I don't know. It's made of red terra cotta clay, with a yellow wash over the surface, and brown detailing, and has two different bird scenes, repeated three times around the jar. It is 5" tall and 6" wide and a 2 3/4" top.

      I really wish I knew more about it, the seller had it half full of gravel, but just said that it came from his fathers estate, and he had it for years, but that look of carving into the surface is what got me, I think it's a molded jar/vase though.
