i too bought these ,minus the cherry blossom ,in wilmette il ,not far from wheeling il.i was in minot north dakota and i talked to a Japanese Lady who said they were worth around 900.00 i did not realize there was a fourth one ,so i am wondering if she means apiece as she knew where they were made and the history of them, she also mentioned hakido or hakado,i may have the name wrong ,however there was also a small doll that went with the 3 large ones, it appears to be from same company very similar but printed, hamilton collection,Nara, Mother and Child, first era honored.bill in sidney mt

THE 4 BISQUE DOLLS ARE MADE IN JAPAN IN 1980. THEY ARE MADE OF RED BRICK CLAY, AND HAND PAINTED. THEY ARE A LIMITED EDITION OF 7,500. SIGNED AND HAND NUMBERED.

ALSO, THE PRICE OF THE DOLLS WERE $80.00 EA. IN 1980. THE VALUE NOW DEPENDS ON THE CONDITION OF EACH DOLL. THEY WERE FIRST OFFERED BY THE HAMILTON CO. IN 1980, IN THE US.
