I found this lil lamp in a thrift store for like $2. Its a 1973 L&L WMC = Loevsky&Loevsky White Metal castings It was a company situated in New Jersey. The company was closed in the late 70's. They used to assembled many different patterns and styles of lamps. And i found out they most the time outsourced the glass shades. They also made lots of other things as well. Standing ashtrays and fancy scales to name a few. . Ive never seen one like mine tho.. but can't go wrong for the price! He sits nicely in my sun porch with my plants.
Meyda currently markets these as a Pond Lily Accent Lamp with various shades including this white version. The same foot is also used on other Meyda accent table lamps.
Nice thank you Tallcakes! I actually had been searching for anything similar when i had got it at the time. . But nothing came up. I had a lady tell me that it was worth $50 to $75.. but price didn't really matter. . I just liked it. .
Those are so cool! I actually really like the colored ones!
The casting looks to be very well done.
Thank you Phil!
