Thinking you are fed up with the mystery mark posts...
I haven't post bugs nor kyratisations for a while, so... BUG AGAIN!
Here is a beetle/bug fellow :-)
25mm (1") long x 17mm wide (0.65") .
He is too a watch pin, unmarked 14k gold, tiny pearls, diamonds and enamel. End of Victorian era.
A big lack of enamel, one diamond missing: kyratised!
Broken legs on left side are beyond my repairing ability to be cured...
Thank you Nicefice for your sweet and early comment :-D
Many thanks for your early loves too, Roycroftbooks and Beyemvey!
Do you want to have a gasp with something craaaazyyy?

It's gooorgeous! Maybe broken bug legs are going to be the next challenge for Kyratisation TM?
Love it kyra, once again!
You bug me, but in the best possible way ! xo
Bijou, I repaired a carved horn bumblebee's broken legs with resin, but this one will stay as is, halas! Thank you for your comment and love !!!
Vintagelamp, yep, another! Thanks my friend for your love!
Phil, lol, thank you for your visit and appreciation ! XOXO
David, yes, winter occupation... bzzzz ;-D
Many thanks for your lovely visit, Kerry!
It says on the listing in the link that it was taken down because the item is no longer available. Hmmm ... Looked like new enameling and beads to me.
Your bug is a beauty!!! I hadn't even noticed his missing leg. I'm sure you'll figure out a way to fix it. Maybe make a clay or rubber mold of the good leg and fill with epoxy, paint, attach with more epoxy? Although I think he's a very distinguished amputee. :)
Katherine, they were relisted, lol! And yes, the enamel is new on most!!! Some have broken legs too... same size as mine :-)
And... thank you for your faith in my repairing skills :-D
But there, the legs are too thin to me to do anything with epoxy... and as you said, the loss isn't noticeable at first glance...
Cute little Bugger !!
Oh he is so lovely! I love bugs too and have spiders, lizards, newts to my collection, but yet to add a Cicada Beetle! You have some lovely items.
Rose, thank you so much for your cute comment, and loving the bugger!
