Good afternoon everyone,
Pictured here is the second half of the 1966 Man from U.N.C.L.E. Napoleon Solo aurora plastic model that joins at the wall with the Illya Kuryakin model I posted yesterday. These 2 models when joined together make the complete scene. As this model is unbuilt and complete in it's original box I am unable to display both models together.
I have the model packed away or I would have taken the photos at the vertical angle as well as the horizontal angle I used.
I bought this model in the 1960's and for some reason long forgotten never did build it. One day I hope to find a built one to complete the scene. I've decided not to build this one.
Yes much too valuable to put together.
Totally agree with you fortapache.
Don't give into temptation Kurt, be strong:))
No way do it ,that's what it's for. I have a Star trek disc Phaser in original packaging on the way first thing Iwill do is open it and pay back for my brother. Hehe.
It has been unbuilt all these years Roy I am used to it now in it's original state and don't want to change this:) If the model wasn't from my childhood then yes I would have no special connection to it and would consider building it.
Value wise it's best not to build your models Kurt as complete unbuilt plastic models only become less in number and more desirable over time.
Very Cool, and I like it unassembled.
Thank you Kerry, I lost my original Illya Kuryakin model many years ago and replaced it. This Napoleon model was stored at my grandmothers for many years un touched I guess it was never ment to be built.
I would leave it as is. Great how with the history of being stored, I agree....It happen like it was suppose to
Thank you Kerry, I won't be building it!!
