This bottle shaped vase was purchased as attributed to Rindskopf, but it could conceivably be by Kralik. It stands about 9" tall and is about 4" in diameter. The rim is ground, and the glass has a ribbed texture. There is a lot of gold and purple iridescence, and there is also an applied gilded metal ormolu of a flower, vine, and leaves. Some of the gilding remains. Made c. 1900 or thereabout.
Sorry I haven't been participating much lately... Christmas found my wife with the flu. I had a sinus infection for the new year. We were hit by a snow storm a week ago, and we lost a family member last week. I spent a little time trying to catch up on and love a lot of your postings that I had missed... I hope 2017 gets a little better than it started! Regards, Bob.

Lovely vase Bob! The metal work takes it to a another level... Beautiful!
Yes, I have a feeling that the little metal tendril was possibly removed and junked from some of these as decorative tastes evolved :-)
Thanks, Roycroftbooksfromme1!!
