"A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in their own toil." As this saying goes,i decide to enjoy some fruit of my labor and splurge a little on a vintage burberry bag.
Burberry was founded in 1856 by Thomas Burberry. He establised the brand at the age of 21 after being an aprehentice. The first store was in haymarket,London.
During the early years, Burberry" was the original name, but then the company change to use the name "Burberrys", after many customers from around the world began calling it "Burberrys of London". This name is still seen on many older Burberry products. In 1998, the brand changed back to Burberry again.
This little old bag has a little story for itself too. I wanted to purchase it online 2 months ago and the dealer told me that it is already reserved. i imagined that it is gone and started to look for others but never seem to be interested in any. Just last week, the dealer emailed to say the potential buyer changed her mind as her husband preferred that she stopped getting any more bags.
I received an additional $10 discount from her for making a fast deal and i received the bag in no time:) i guess we were meant to be!

yes manikin its really good to have your second chance at the item again- like hope resurfaced.
Really thank you tas, i seldom go for branded stuff as they really do burn holes in your pocket. But I realise on ebay vintage branded goes for a much higher price but in Asia its the other way round. Old models just go for a fraction of price:))
