Thanks to Martika for figuring out the brand name of this bag. I have found an intact label online and it dates to the 1960s. Martika also added a link.

@fleafinder - It is an interesting design. There is nothing wrong with it aside from the label being somewhat messed up. The thrift shop where I find most of my really nice leather bags always sell them to me for a buck.
