Hello Everyone, 3-02-2017, 12:30 AM
This is the kind of item i really enjoy to find, for many reason, i like to research it, most difficult it is, more fun in perspective.
This is what I believe to be a Jewellery box, I found it yesterday at the thrift shop.
From the late 1800, beginning 1900 in the "Neo Gothic" style, the box is solid Brass, this box it's composed of 16 different scene from the medieval era, they are mostly compose with King, Queen, knight and some others individual, than they will need more image research for the meaning, the only mark i found on the under part was"Patented Applied For" heavy piece, show a lot of wear throughout, missing the latch flap for the lid.
This Box stand 3 inch high, 5.75 inch long, 3.75 deep.
Many Thanks Everyone for Viewing.
Alan

Very cool find!

I have many pieces now to fill it, LOL
