    This Jefferson Golden Hour Electric Clock is what I found today at the Thrift Store. According to Rodger-Russell.com the clock was made between 1949-1991, this one before 1964, because of the base plate color. Here is a link to the site:

      I have one and love it: I like the simple, yet elegant looks, the 'mystery' effect and it is just so reliable. I had to buy the alternative motor and cog in order to run it here in Scotland and it tells the time really well.

      I understand there is a radioactive element in the hands and that the case is plated with gold.
