This is another thrift shop buy from today - 10 Euro ($10.79) This must have been a collector's piece as there is not a single scratch or signs of use.
I looked high and low on the net and only found these cake stands in a frosted motif. Nothing at all of this design with any sort of colored accents. Zip on the Mikasa site. I think the cake plate dates from the 1980s/1990s. Nothing in Replacements aside from an out of stock clear double swans cake stand. Surely this can't be the only one... :-]]]]]]
Oh well, I guess my curiosity won't be satisfied any time soon.
Thanks for looking at my plate
Bonnie
That's one of the prettiest cake plates I've ever seen!!
It really is just lovely Bonnie!!!!
Like you Bonnie, I too am beginning to think you have the only piece. I'm still looking! I found 0ne swan bowl that has the coloured, pink accents. Zillions of Walther glass cake stands and Walther for Mikasa cake stands, (never heard of Walther glass before, they have some really lovely pieces), don't think I've gone to pinterest yet!

Sir Tall Cakes may be around soon.
This is a beauty Bonnie! It has wonderful detail, and I love the little splashes of color... not overdone, just right :-)
Hi!Just saw your post, I just picked one up at a thrift shop, it has all the beautiful pink extra highlights on the wings, beaks, and cattails and lillies. No box. Perfect condition!
mine is slightly different, the beaks and eyes are colored, not the heads
