This ring was turned into Geri's shop a couple of days ago. Fortunately for me, the ring isn't her size.....bah hahaha! I haven't the foggiest idea about the mark on the side. I wonder if the gold accents are bits of gold rather than gold plating. I can see there is "SOM" but don't know what that is above the "S" (ter??) or what that other mark is next to it. An image search got me zero, as did varied searches of the mark. General searches of sterling and marcasite gold accent rings was also a big nothing.

Doubt it is french made, though.

Pascale - the mark beside it looks to me like "9TL", but it makes no sense when I try to Google it. :-/

Just wondering whether the 'ter' along with the capital S stands for sterling and then the OM a makers mark? The mark next to that looks a little like '9TC.' Possibly?
