This is (to me) a beautiful example of German Art Nouveau: a copper and brass claret/wine jug designed by Carl Deffner. I particularly like the intricate water lily designs on the front, as well as the heavy brass accents accentuating the dark copper. It measures a full 14 inches high, 5 inches in diameter at the base, and (fortunately!) still has its original c. hundred year-old patina.
Thanks for looking!
