This Legras et Cie vase features gilt enamel work done in the Rococo revival style that was very popular during the period from about 1860 up until about the 1890’s. (It was drilled in the vase to serve as a lamp but is in excellent condition with hardly any wear, so I don't mind the hole.) My vase in image four is another example by Legras in the Rococo style.

Both Harrach and Loetz used a very similar style of enamel work that is sometimes hard to tell apart from each other. The vase itself however, is usually the give away. In this case, it is an easy identification - the beautiful pale green is very much a color used by Legras, and the marker for Legras can be seen on the molded raised dots on the feet of the vase.

Every time I have seen a vase with feet in this style, I have been able to verify that the vase was made by Legras. I come across quite a few amberina vases on Ebay that have these feet, but are misidentified as being Bohemian or by another maker - but to me, the feet are a dead give away.

beautiful and your information is very useful, yes this type of enamel is difficult to distinguish between Loetz and Harrach and Legras...
