Top reads Federal law prohibits from resale of the bottle. Found in the dunes at the beach. Could it be a milk bottle.

The Fed. Law statement is seen only on alcohol bottles made between 1933 and 1962ish.
The Fed. Law bottles can have many fascinating shapes and designs. For example, I have one that is clearly a pitcher, yet it must have had a giant cork and paper label at one point as it has the statement on it. To this day it's the strangest one I've ever seen.
