Recently I bought 2 of these Amy Sandheim forks, I kept one myself and gave the other to a friend of mine for Christmas. The fork is marked for London and the year 1936. As you can see the design is pleasing to the eye, I was thinking it could be of a Celtic design. The handle isn't hammered but the prongs are. It a very sturdy fork and weighs 26 grams. I was thinking it could be either a dessert or pastry fork. I'm great fan of Amy's I love her work.

Below is a little bit about Amy.

Amy was a jeweller and silversmith, a contemporary of Sybil Dunlop and Dorrie Nossiter. Active in London from 1924-1939, producing bright, stylish pieces of jewellery. Her father and uncle ran a successful silversmithing business from premises at 130 Nothing Hill Gate, and it is here that Amy learnt her craft. She was great friend of Dorrie Nossiter. Some of her work is very similar to that of Sybil Dunlop, especially in the use of geometric-shaped cabochon gems.

    Many thanks for looking

Awww, thank you shareurpassion. I've been in England recently and I've grown my nails, I haven't had them this long for ages. I also love the nail gel colour, I hope they have the same colour here in Spain. Thanks for your visit.
