This is a wonderful vase with a fabulous use of aventurine. On this piece it is a key part of the design, used in a structural 'papillon' style rather than a random specking here and there. I really love this one it is so vibrant, no idea on maker, but definitely Bohemian.

Thanks for commenting guys - just wish I knew who made it..?

Thanks Lisa - It's a shame Alfredo pulled his posts I would have liked to have seen those.

      Thanks for the images Lisa.
… they definitely look like the same maker - that’s for sure!
And Alfredo was convinced about the Ruckl attrib?

I guess that would make me one of the "others". Now that is Funny..... Being a researcher of sorts myself, I kind of like to see "evidence"...... even a "little bit" would be good.

A comparison image for those wondering why I am not a "true believer". :-)

      http://www.kralik-glass.com/CW/CoralShimmy.jpg

Alfredo "declared" (with absolutely no supporting evidence of any kind) the décor in the image above, consisting of a green aventurine ground with orange pulls, to be "Coral Shimmy" and also claimed the same décor to be a "variant" of Coral Shimmy........ Coral Shimmy is a multi colored Spatter decor with no pulls.

And the rest is "research history." LOL

Thanks Craig, I think maybe until we have some substantive evidence in support of Ruckl I should stick with 'Bohemian Czech Vase' then? It's a stunner though!

I kind of think the pic in the link I provided above kind of says it all Lisa. The piece in Phil's decor with the label under it, is from Alfredo, and not an image I created based on what he said. That is his actual work product.

Maybe you can explain the supportable link for the claim he made.... He certainly never did.

You skeptical of my "version"... How utterly shocking that is to me. LOL

But you still seem to "drink the Kool Aid", and I quit imbibing many years ago....

Yes Phil, it is an absolute stunner for sure!!!

      A real knock out!

There were a lot of head scratching ruckl attributions based line art as well as ruckl "markers" that could be found in several maker's glass.

Thanks Scott, I agree with you on your comment, there's no evidence to say this is definitely a Ruckl piece.

Ruckl for me based mostly on technique and shape studies. the heavy adventurine base glass is also a signature. thats a nice vase buddy save it for me in case a disaster hits and you need money: !

Haha...! I'll bear that in mind!
