Would like info on how to appropriately restore this item and what year it could be from. who is he women in the print? Thanks, any advice would be great.

Pretty trunk you've got there. It looks as though it will need a bit of work but if you put the time and effort into it the thing should be something you'll be proud of for quite a while. You can find a lot of info on fixing up trunks online, if you look around here at what people have done you can pick up some tips and tricks.
