Can anyone identify this? Was my grandfather's, who was a colonel in the army. He was taken prisoner by the Japanese ,survived the Bataan death march, but died before the end of the war. There are two. He served in both World War I and World War II . Any help would be appreciated.
Philippine Scouts I believe... see photo in row 5 at right end...

24th Field Artillery Regiment... variant w/ 2 legs on mule.
The pin itself is called a Distinctive Unit Insignia (DUI). They are typically called "unit crests" by soldiers.
The 24th FA was part of the 12th Infantry Division-- often called the Philippine Division.

Thanks everyone! That is the pin in the picture. My grandmother , mother and grandfather were all in the Philippines before the war in the Pacific really got going. My mother and grandmother were evacuated to San Francisco. My grandfather never returned . Thanks for letting me know what was on that mule, Ha! Hard to tell. Thanks again!!
