Terracotta Clay Sculpture

I bought this because of the simple form and color. There is no mark or signature. It feels smooth and I haven't cleaned it.

I would like to know if it is by a known artist that someone may recognize. I have had no luck identifying it. I did see one piece that was done by Amanda Crowe but that may be wishful thinking.
