Thank you so much mp.kunst. This will definitely help me in my research.
My best guess is Japanese Satsuma.
Thank you, lizzycbw. That is the only one I saw that looked like it belonged to the same artist. I will keep hunting. Thanks again!
No, I believe it to be some kind of resin or celluloid.
Trying again to see if anyone can identify the artist's signature.
Thank you, nutsabotas6. I can't see anything on the bottom, lol. Where in the photo should I look?
Does anyone have any ideas regarding this piece?
I should mention that it measures 10" X 5".
Thank you! There really isn't any way to know where it came from in the world, for me anyhow since it probably came from an estate where possibly someone had picke it up somewhere.
Southwestern United States.
Thank you!
Anyone have a clue?
Thank you for your help. While researching Stone Mountain, I came across Iron Mountain Stoneware and found the info. Thanks again!
P. S. Please ignore the sticker, lol.
Anyone?
A BIG thank you! I don't think I would have ever been able to figure it out!
Well that would be disappointing.
Could it really be that old?
