    BLUE CLAM SHELL VASE

Here is another 'mystery' piece - well sort of. It is a light blue clam shell pottery vase that measures 5.25" tall x 5.25" wide. It is unmarked on the bottom except for the number 156, but it has a partial paper label of the front edge of the base which says "Styled by Freeman". It looks nothing like any of the pieces by Anthony Freeman McFarlin.

Any ideas? I am guessing it is from the 1950's

That's an old label, so I think 1950s is about right. I made an Image search and found absolutely nothing.... :((((

Thank you so much for your help. It is most appreciated. I've done some research as well and found a couple of the same shell vases but with no paper label and no info.

Tinted clay is consistent with Princeton China, Chadwick China and a few others all circa the 40s.

Thank you all for your help - it's like a mystery to be deciphered by the clues. Exciting to be on the hunt for information.
