This popular jar, originally released in the mid-40s, is another jar that seems to support a holiday theme. This jar is marked McCoy (40s version) or McCoy uSA (late 50s-early 60s) on the bottom. The jar on the left is the common 50s-60s version, while the one on the right was made in the 40s. (note the tail being taller on the older issue.) Some early turkeys have a waddle that has words written on it by an employee. These were for relatives and their families that the employees gave them as gifts. These are rare, as most were plain white without the writing.
