This just came in the mail today. underneath it is written: Rudolph Lucasie, Wife and Children from Madagascar. They have pure White Skin, Silken White Hair and Pink Eyes!! Have been Exhibited at Barnum's Museum, N.Y. for Three Years.

this is a Currier and Ives print from 1860. i'm looking for a really great period frame for it. it's quite large at 10" x 14".

    i love BIG HAIR!!

Raputa the beauta!!! haha This is a very cool print. You could use a small door or old window for a frame. What would fit better tho would be an old Eastlake frame. Those are mainly tramp art frames. Perfect for the albinos.

thanks shareurpassion. i was thinking that i'd like to use a nice old eastlake frame. mine are all occupied, but i do have this really nice old piecrust frame which looks good w/ the golden puffy hair.

This is a fantastic print. They look like some of the Circassian people that you see Cartd'visites of.

One of my teachers always said "Get a haircut hippies"
It has been at a time I still had enough hair on my head.... I love this piece.
